Dear Carolyn,

Many years ago, I was sitting alone in a café in Rome having dinner.  You were visiting with your sisters and your mom and you gave me a small card that said "a kind word left unspoken dies in your heart".  Although the card has long since been misplaced, I never forgot the saying or to speak kind words to people if I felt the urge to.  For whatever reason it came to mind today and I decided to google your name and there you were...  how delighted I was to see your website...

Thank you again Carolyn!

With warm regards,

Mike - USA

NB The above letter came to me, via email, yesterday, 8th September 2016. The small encouragement card was given to “a stranger” in a foreign country 20 years ago!

This is amazing to me; not one, five or ten years, but 20 years later the “stranger” wrote back to me, proving that God touched his heart, and that he really does practice speaking kind words. Mike’s letter greatly encouraged me and he returned the blessing back to me - 20 years later....

Very special indeed!

You have a God-given talent, which you use for His glory. The beautiful thoughts, which you are able to express so clearly and simply, a mentally retarded chimp could not miss your message! I have read the words several times and cry as I read them. They say exactly the things I feel but have never been able to write.

At this very moment I am holding one of your beautiful cards my daughter bought recently. The card is called “Pause for a Moment”. The verse inside has done so much for me – I read it often and keep it near.  I have been on the sick list for three years with liver cancer so your special card and verse just seem to comfort and support me.

Your cards are beautiful and do inspire the good in us all; really the creeds are easy to live life by, yet so many people in life have been hurt, deprived, scarred in some way.

– Betty

Thank you for the card you made for me to give my “Forever Friend”.

I feel as if you have given the thoughts in my mind and the feelings in my heart a written form, more poignant than I could hope for.

– Chris

Your cards are so lovely; I have never seen anything like them before, with perfect wording to send to loved ones.’

– Barbara

I have been through very trying times emotionally and questioning the purpose of my life – everything was in tatters. But the words I keep reading are ... “He (God) gave you gifts unique to you, so no one can touch the world quite like you!”  Thank you. I’ve read your testimony and it encourages me a great deal.

– Dianne

And your cards! Your wonderful cards – so personal, so beautiful.

I will use them with delight.

– Eugene

I was feeling a little bit alone at the time and reading your cards and testimony encouraged me greatly. It is nice to know that there are others out there who go through the same things and are vulnerable and brave enough at the same time to admit it.

– Sasha

Thank you for the beautiful card you forwarded for my husband. It said so perfectly from the heart what I feel and often can’t put into words. Thank you so very much it was beautiful and my husband loved it.

– Cecilia

Feeling quite despondent due to a recent upset, I was drawn to your beautiful sunflower bookmark. Then I discovered more of your lovely cards and the leaflet “This is my story”. I was very touched by the sentiments you expressed. Thank you for your inspiration, it is a joy to know that there are people in this world who do care for others.

– Jan

The effort you put into your work is meticulous. The artwork is beautiful and the quality of the paper is fantastic. Thank you Carolyn, the “Embrace Life” card is beautiful.

I am writing regarding the Christmas Remembrance Services, which we held again this year for all the families we cared for during the year. Thank you for offering your card “Embrace Life”. We were able to hand one out to every family who attended and they were very well received. Many commented on the professional presentation of theses cards.   Carolyn, I really appreciate the cards which enhanced the Service. I would like to make a contribution to Carolyn’s Cards, to go towards its future growth, and also in memory of Patrick.
